  • Arrive at the time of your appointment. Do not arrive late. If you arrive early, wait in your car or outside. You will receive a text when you are able to come to the door. Make sure your contact information is up to date before your arrival so we can text you.
  • Wear a mask over your mouth and nose.
  • We will not be taking clients with ANY cold symptoms.
  • If you or anyone you live with has been exposed to the virus in the past month, cancel your appointment at least 48 hrs before your appointment time.
  • Cancel 48 hrs before your appointment to avoid being charged for your service.

Terms & Policies

Reservations and Cancellation

A major credit card is required to book your reservation. Arriving later than 20% of your appointment time will be considered a late cancellation, and you will be charged for the full service.

If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment for any reason, no exceptions will be made, you must provide a minimum notice of 48 hours to avoid being charged the full price of your missed treatments. 

Minimum Age Requirements

Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.


Please arrive at the time of your scheduled appointment. If you arrive early and find the door locked, please understand that a service is in progress and do not knock. The door will be unlocked at your appointment time. If the door is unlocked, please come in and seat yourself in the waiting area. Regretfully, untimely arrivals may be subject to reduced treatment time in order to remain on schedule for subsequent guests.

Services & Prices

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue or change services and prices without notice to ensure that maximum standards of service and quality are being met.


The Sapien staff works hard to help you achieve health, wellness and self-expression. A 20% increase in service prices now reflects a mandatory 15% gratuity and a 5% charge for PPE. You may request to leave additional gratuity during our hands-free checkout.

For Your Safety

Clients with medical conditions are advised to consult their doctors prior to booking any skincare or beauty services. Kindly inform your therapist of any existing medical conditions by completing an online consent form prior to your service, or by notifying your therapist before your service. Sapien reserves the right to discontinue a service for any reason to ensure the safety of all parties.

The Gift of Self-care

E-gift cards are available though the online booking system.

Sapien is an open air urban day spa, and a standard shower is available before and after any facial or body treatment appointment. We are proudly ADA compliant with a wheelchair accessible storefront and electric treatment table.

Microneedling and Peel Policy

The client is responsible for bringing in their own UPF protection (i.e. Bluestone Sunshield) on the day of their appointment as SPF will not be applied after the service and any exposure to light following the service will result in damage to the skin. If client does not have their own sufficient UPF protection they will be required to purchase a Bluestone Sunshield at the time of their appointment.

Microblading Policy 

Healed results will vary with each individual client and using a pencil or powder may still be needed. We have no control over what occurs during the healing process. Absolutely NO guarantee will be made and additional sessions (charged accordingly) may be required to obtain optimal results. Additional charges will apply. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you have had your eyebrows previously tattooed your artist cannot guarantee service or results. In some cases where the previous work is too dark, dense, discolored, or large, tattoo removal will be highly recommended before we begin the cover-up/re-work. Previously tattooed areas and cover-ups will almost always require additional appointments for best results and will be charged accordingly.

Although we give our best efforts to provide you with quality service, many factors can result in a less than desired outcome as each client will heal differently. Please refer to the FAQ section to see if the services we offer may be beneficial to you.

Payment information is required in order to book and confirm every new appointment. This is to ensure that you are serious about booking your appointment and it will be utilized in case of late cancellations and rescheduling. We require 48 hours notice if you decide to reschedule your appointment.

If you choose to cancel your appointment within the 48 hour window, you will be charged for the service. Please contact us if you are going to be late. Being more than 20 minutes late to your appointment may result in being charged for your appointment and the cancellation of your appointment.

Pricing is subject to change at any time. Additional appointments will be charged according to our current price list. Your second session, if needed, may be scheduled no sooner than 6 weeks following your first session, although later is better. We must give your skin ample time to fully heal and regenerate before tattooing it again. Refresher appointments are generally required every 1-2 years.
